Today was my last day at Microsoft. I've worked at Microsoft in the UK for the last 8 years, and now it's time for something different.
I want to say thanks to all the great people I've worked with over the years, including...
The ADCs
Dave Allen, Adrian Bateman, Colin Beales, Ian Gilroy, Dave Goon, Mark Haas, Darren Jefford, Gareth Jones, Neil Kidd, James Musson, Marcus Perryman, Stuart Richardson, Ryan Simpson, Morgan Skinner, Rob Turner, Nigel Watling, Chung Webster, Paul West, Steve White, Ian Wijesinghe, James World
The DEs
Daniel Moth, Mike Ormond, Mike Taulty
The Managers
Kevin Gemmell, Steve Leaback, Kevin McDaniel
I'm not sad to leave (otherwise I wouldn't have), but I'll miss this group of very talented people whose individual contributions are probably not valued by the company as much as they should be. Those that still work at Microsoft, that is. I learned a great deal from these people, and I hope to stay in touch.
What does this mean for my blog? Well, I daresay it'll change somewhat. I'm continuing to build software on the Microsoft platform though, so I expect that I'll still have things to say about that.
