Thursday started quietly with a chance to catch up on some real work. Then in the afternoon Daniel drove us up to Bolton (I had my eyes closed most of the way) for our evening session at the University there. The audience consisted of academics as well as local SMEs which gave us a nice mix of questions. All in all, this was a very well prepared venue.
Afterwards I did the long drive up to Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Next morning we did the last proper repeat of our road-trip sessions for customer based in Newcastle, and in the afternoon Mike and I went and chatted to some students at the University of Northumbria.
Mark had started the long drive home in the Volvo, so Mike and I walked to the railway station to find trains home. That was it, the road-trip was over. It was a lot of fun. I hope to do something like this again. But not next week ;-)
