The other day, Mike and I were bemoaning the fact that our MP3 players had no specific charger, and that we have to plug them into a PC to keep them charged up. Since then, I've made an amazing discovery (which may well have been obvious to all of you)...
I have a 4-way USB hub, with its own power supply. It cost me £20 from a high-street store, and no doubt you could find one for less. By connecting my mp3 players to this, it charges them without the need for a PC. One mains connection and I can charge up to 4 devices :-)
I've tried this successfully with my Creative Zen Micro, and Sony NW-E507. I can't vouch that it'll work for everything, of course.
